Dr. Madiha Khan

Consultant Psychiatrist

I believe in treating my patients as I would like to be treated myself; with compassion, care and diligence

I am a general adult psychiatrist, certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology since 2018. After earning my Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degrees, I advanced my training and career in the United States, where I became deeply involved in psychiatric care and research. My commitment to improving mental health outcomes led me to a co-leadership position in the Outcome Reviews Committee (ORC) at Baylor College of Medicine. This role enabled me to contribute significantly to enhancing patient care standards and practices within the institution.

At Baylor College of Medicine, I not only pursued my passion for psychiatry as an assistant professor but also practiced outpatient psychiatry at a county clinic. I embraced the opportunity to work closely with diverse patient populations, developing individualized and comprehensive treatment plans that incorporate medication, psychotherapy, and social interventions tailored to each person's unique needs and circumstances.

Before relocating to the UAE, I maintained a private practice in the US, further honing my skills and expertise in adult psychiatry. Currently, I am licensed to practice by the Texas Medical Board, the Dubai Health Authority (DHA), and the Dubai Healthcare City (DHCA), where I continue to dedicate myself to the well-being of my patients, guiding them towards mental health and resilience.
