I am of Irish/Pakistani descent, completing my basic medical training from Allama Iqbal Medical College Lahore, Pakistan in 1996, before relocating to Ireland, where I completed my basic and higher specialist training. Thereafter, I practised in Ireland with Health Services Executive(HSE) for more than 10 years before relocationg to the UAE in 2012.
In the UAE I have worked in notable institutions prior to joining the American Wellness Center.
During my extensive diverse 22 years of experience, one of my most noted achievements is the ongoing position of International Regional Advisor for UAE appointed by Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh. I am passionate about education and have substantial teaching experience and as well as authored several notable publications and have been actively involved in clinical governance throughout my career.

The most common rheumatic condition which people know is Arthritis but in reality there are more than 200 rheumatic conditions/musculoskeletal disorders in addition to arthritis which can involve bones, ligaments, tendons, muscles, nerves and auto-immune systemic conditions.
These conditions need early and immediate diagnosis and treatment in order to prevent long term damage and deformities of the joints and other systemic complications.
Arthritis is not the disease of old age as it can affect all age groups including children and young adults.
