I am an American Board-Certified Consultant of Internal Medicine with over 10 years of experience. I graduated from University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, Dallas, Texas, USA. I completed my internship and residency training at Baylor University Medical Center, Dallas, Texas, USA, where I served as Chief Resident of Internal Medicine.
I have previously worked as an attending physician at Baylor University Medical Center Hospital in Dallas, Texas, USA, where I managed patients in a variety of areas including Oncology, Liver Transplant, General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Hepatology, Cardiology, Pulmonary/Critical Care, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Neurology, Nephrology, Gastroenterology, and Palliative Care. Simultaneously, I served as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine at Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine, Dallas Campus, where I enjoyed teaching medical students.
I have been working in Dubai for over 5 years as a Consultant of Internal Medicine in an outpatient clinic as well as teaching medical students during their clinical rotation in medicine.
My personal goal is to provide quality, compassionate, patient-centered, evidence-based care to every patient I encounter. I provide general medical care to adult patients (age 18 and over) presenting with acute and chronic medical conditions in the outpatient setting. I perform annual health checks and routine sick visits as well as screening and treatment of cholesterol disorders, heart disease, diabetes, hypertension, and thyroid disorders.
I am passionate and enjoy internal medicine because it allows me to partner with my patients, focus on preventive medicine, and appropriately address acute and chronic issues to optimize overall health.
