I have been a practicing pediatrician for over 30 years in the United States. I graduated Medical schoolat New York Medical College in 1982. Then I did my internship and residency at University of CaliforniaSan Francisco from 1982-1985. I was selected to be Chief Pediatric Resident at SF general hospitalfrom 1985-86.
I then moved to New York City and did 2 years of fellowship training in Pediatrichematology and oncology at the prestigious Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Institute. Finally, I movedto Honolulu Hawaii where I worked at Kaiser Permanente Hawaii Medical center from 1990 until movingto Dubai in 2016. In Hawaii, for 28 years, I managed all of the patients with blood and cancer diseasesfrom age 1 month until age 18 years. In the spare time I also practiced general pediatrics for these 28years.
Having managed the sickest of the sick children, I have a wealth of experience in knowing how tomanage critically ill children. Not all of my time was caring for the cancer patients. About 75% of thetime I also saw well children for basic well child care, vaccinations and the various issues arising inotherwise healthy children (coughs, colds, skin rashes, gastrointestinal issues). I relocated to Dubai inJanuary 2016 and have worked at Mediclinic Dubai Mall and Mediclinic Arabian Ranch clinics as a fulltime consultant pediatrician. I will now be working 2 days per week at American Wellness Centeroffering my services to all in need in this region of Dubai.

- Fevers in children- workup and treatment plan
