My Experience and Background
I am a Japanese Board Certified Doctor of Internal Medicine with 15+ years of professional expertise in Internal Medicine, General Medicine, Preventive medicine and Travel Medicine.
I got my Degree of Medicine from Tokyo Women’s Medical University, Tokyo, Japan. And then later went on to study my Ph.D. in Medicine in the Jutendo University, Tokyo, Japan. I have a Post Graduate Certificate in Research Methods for Translational Medicine (Pharmaceutical Cancer) at University of Manchester, U.K.
I have extensively practiced Internal Medicine, treating many patients in Tokyo mainly in general internal medicine, hematology and had stem cells research. In Paris, I got the chance to be involved in the international medical evacuation/repatriation services for International SOS as escorting doctor and coordinating doctor. Then later on, I moved in Shanghai, China and treated mostly foreign expatriates from various countries. My experiences in many countries helped me in understanding the health issues of patients from different cultural backgrounds.
I have been working in Dubai since 2012 as a Specialist Internal Medicine. Highest-quality and patient-centered care are my primary focus and my special areas of expertise are: General Internal Medicine, including acute and chronic disease, Management of Metabolic Syndrome (hyperlipidemia, hypertension, diabetes, obesity), Travel Medicine, Vaccination and Health
I am licensed in the UAE (Dubai Healthcare City and Dubai Health Authority) and in Japan.
